An old tree has fallen in Marlborough as Storm Eunice continues to batter the county.
The large tree wiped out a stone pillar and an old-style street lamp in the High Street at around midday today (18 February).
The road is blocked following the incident, with a tree and debris scattered on the ground near The Marlborough public house.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A tree has come down near The Marlborough pub in the High Street, and has brought down a stone pillar and a street lamp.
“There is a large amount of debris in the area and the road is blocked.
“Please avoid the area and only travel if essential.”
