A woman has been found dead in a woodland in Swindon, police say.
Officers and medics attended the scene off White Edge Moor, Liden, this morning (Wednesday).
A woman, aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead, and her next of kin has been informed.
Exactly what happened is unclear, but Wiltshire Police confirmed that there are not thought to be an suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A spokesperson said: “Her next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
A cordon was in place along a footpath through the woodland – linking with Liden Lagoon – but his has since been lifted and police have left the area.
