A man’s been strangled and punched in a Salisbury nightclub.

The vicious assault took place at the popular weekend venue Music Box on Catherine Street between 2.15am and 2.30am on Saturday 26 August.

Two unknown males assaulted another male, who’s aged in his 20s, by strangling and punching him – causing him to have a swollen eye.

Police have been unable to get clear descriptions, but one of the suspects is described as wearing a dark top and the other male a white top.

If you heard or saw anything suspicious in this club or in the area around this time or can help the police with their enquiries, please contact PC Alexandra Way at Salisbury Police on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
