Police are hunting a ‘vulnerable’ girl who reportedly got into a man’s car outside a pub.
Leah Mullins or Creighton was reported missing after she disappeared in the village of Sherston, near Malmesbury, at around 7.30pm yesterday evening (Friday, 29 December).
According to one of her parents, she got into a “burgundy or dark coloured older estate car” with a male – believed to be aged in his 30s – near the the Angel Pub, in the High Street. It’s believed they obtained this information from a witness.
“We are getting extremely concerned as this child is vulnerable and not aware of danger”, they said in a post on Facebook early this morning (Saturday).
Wiltshire Police said the 14-year-old girl “may appear to be confused or upset”.
Leah was wearing a pair of blue fleece shorts and a white Bambi t-shirt, and has blonde hair worn loose. She might also be wearing a light brown jumper.
“Her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare”, a spokesperson for the force said in an “urgent” appeal released shortly after her disappearance.
Anyone with information or who knows where Leah is should contact police as a matter of urgency by calling 999 and quoting log 263 of 29 December.
