Police officers are trialling electric bikes to tackle crime across Wiltshire.
Surrons are widely used by criminals to get around in Swindon – but are now being utilised by traffic cops.
The road-legal version of the speedy dirt bike – kitted out with blue lights – will allow police to pursue those who use Sur-Rons illegally.
This morning (Wednesday), an officer was riding the bike when they spotted the driver of a Vauxhall Astra undertake dangerously in Trowbridge.
The driver was stopped and the driver was arrested – having failed a roadside DrugWipe for cannabis.
