Police have swarmed a country lane amid a serious incident in north Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to an unnamed road near Braydon after concerns were raised for the welfare of an elderly man shortly after 5pm on Wednesday (3 September).
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was deployed, alongside at least five police units and a number of ambulance resources, to the scene close to Ravensroost Wood.
999 vehicles lined the single-track rural road as they responded to the incident, which is understood to have been mental health related.

Officers appeared to focus on a silver car, parked in front of a gate to a field. The vehicle had police tape around it and police appeared to be searching it.
A man, aged in his 90s, was treated by medics for an unspecified injury – before being taken to hospital for further care.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that the casualty didn’t sustain life-threatening wounds.
