A search for two suspects ensued after a woman was assaulted last night.
Around ten police officers were involved in the hunt for two men in the Coate Water and Badbury Park area of Swindon at around 8pm on Wednesday evening.
More than half a dozen police vehicles were seen driving up and down Shaftesbury Avenue, Dorcan Way and Marlborough Road, while other police officers searched wooded areas.
A short time later, the police vehicles raced towards Badbury Park, where they stopped a white van on Rainscombe Road. One man ran from the van, but was swiftly arrested.
Two local men, a 35-year-old and a 37-year-old, have been arrested in connection with the assault and disturbance. They are currently in custody, Wiltshire Police have confirmed.
