A man’s body was discovered after police were called to a home in Faringdon.
Officers attended the property Meadow Bank at around 12.30pm on Monday (11 March).
A man, aged in his 70s, was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
At the height of the incident, seven police vehicles, an ambulance and a fire engine were on scene – according to a local resident.
Thames Valley Police said the man’s death is “being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious”.
They confirmed that a file will be prepared for the coroner and work is ongoing to identify and notify the man’s next of kin.
