Police are appealing for the owners of three horses, found wandering on a main road near Westbury this morning, to come forward.
Officers were called to the incident by a member of the public at approximately 4am today reporting that three large horses were loose on the Yarnbrook to Westbury Road – close to the cement works site.
The responding police officers and a member of the public managed to round them up safely and the animals have been taken to nearby stables.
