Police have raided numerous homes in Swindon ‘to disrupt drug supply’.
This morning (Wednesday), officers were seen executing warrants in Redhouse – with armed police and a dog unit on hand to assist.
Over the past 36 hours, several raids have been carried out in the north Swindon area in a bid to reduce criminal behaviour, including drug dealing.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “There have been four arrests so far, as part of on-going investigations, and we will release more details as we are able to.
“These warrants have come about thanks to information given to our PCSOs and officers by concerned members of the public.
“Without this intelligence it would be impossible for us to go to court and get permission from magistrates to enter the properties to carry out searches and make arrests.”
