Police have launched a probe after a man reportedly showed a girl a pornographic image.
The incident is said to have taken place in Biss Meadows Country Park in Trowbridge at around 3.40pm on Friday afternoon (24 February).
In a post on social media, the alleged victim’s mother claimed her 14-year-old was approached by a man – aged in his 20s or 30s – who showed “indecent images” on his mobile phone.
The woman said her daughter was left “frightened” and “violated”.
“Please be on your guard and don’t go down there alone, I will be contacting the council to ask for a camera there as it’s dangerous”, she commented.
“If anyone seen (sic) anything suspicious around that time or area please contact the police.
“My daughter was scared and so fled so can not remember what he was wearing unfortunately but he would of (sic) headed towards Tesco or maybe town park around that time.”
