A police plane has been deployed over Oxford after a child was reported missing.
Officers have swarmed the Cowley area following the disappearance of a three-year-old boy earlier this evening (Tuesday)
The National Police Air Service plane was sent to the incident, circling the area.
The child was last seen in the area of Cowley Marsh Nature Reserve – with frantic searches ongoing.
Thames Valley Police are asking anyone who sees the lost youngster to call 999.
A spokesperson said: “There is currently a high police presence around Cowley Marsh Nature Reserve due to a missing three year old child.
“If they are sighted please call police on 999 immediately.”
