Police officers have rescued a woman from the edge of a car park in Swindon today.
Emergency services were called to the Brunel West Car Park on Farnsby Street in the town centre at around 2pm this afternoon following concerns raised for the welfare of a person.
On arrival, officers rushed to the top of the building where the found a woman in her 20s. They engaged with her and managed to bring her down safely.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed they attended the scene earlier today, and said that ‘the woman has been taken to a place of safety’.
