A cannabis factory has been discovered within a property in Dauntsey over the weekend.

Police officers attend the north Wiltshire address on Saturday afternoon, where 143 plants were being cultivated and were at different stages of their growth.

Two people, who were at the property when police arrived, have been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of, and producing, a controlled substance.

The cannabis plants will now be destroyed, Wiltshire Police has said.

Anyone with information should contact Wiltshire Police by calling non-emergency number 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
