Police officers have been assaulted after a ‘brief’ car chase in Salisbury.
A Ford KA failed to stop in the Bemerton Heath area at around 2pm this afternoon (Wednesday).
The police helicopter was tasked with searching for the occupants, who fled the scene on foot.
When officers attended a nearby property – in Pinewood Way – they were assaulted.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and cultivation of cannabis.
A 20-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
They are both currently in police custody.
