A police officer has been kicked in the face during a drugs raid in Swindon.
The warrant was carried out at an unknown address in the Upper Stratton area this morning after receiving evidence that residents at the house were dealing drugs to children.
Officers seized white powder believed to be Class A drugs, cannabis plants and dried cannabis leaves along with a large number of small bags and paraphernalia used in the supply of drugs.
A police spokesperson commented: “Live shotgun cartridges along with numerous weapons were taken from the property, along with an air pistol found a child’s schoolbag.
“An 18-year-old male was arrested at the scene for assaulting a PC, who was kicked in the face. Two other people will be brought in for questioning at a later date.”
