Crime scenes are in place in Laverstock near Salisbury following a serious assault today.
Emergency services are currently at the scene in Wessex Road, where one man’s been arrested.
It is understood that the Great Western Air Ambulance was called to the scene. However, was stood down prior to landing.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Poice said:
“We are currently dealing with a serious assault in Wessex Road, Laverstock, Salisbury.
“One man has been arrested and the incident is contained – there is no wider risk to the public.
“There’s likely to be a police presence in the area throughout the afternoon and into this evening.
“We will provide an update in due course.”
