A woman was found seriously injured at an address in Wroughton last night.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene to support the ambulance service was the casualty found at a property in Wainwright Mews, off Moormead Road, at around 8pm.
The woman was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon for treatment for her injuries.
Wiltshire Police has since launched an investigation into the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called by ambulance around 8pm yesterday (29/01) after a woman was found injured at an address in Wroughton.
“Our enquiries are ongoing at this stage to establish how she became injured.”
The woman has since been discharged from hospital.
