Police in Trowbridge are asking anyone who witnessed a ‘scuffle’ between a man and a schoolgirl in the town this morning to make contact.
The incident has understood to have taken place near Talbot Road or the alleyway between Talbot Road and Glebe Road at around 8am.
A man is said to have had an argument or ‘scuffle’ with a teenage female.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are urgently appealing for anyone who may have witnessed what might have appeared to be an argument or scuffle between a man and teenage girl shortly after 8am near Talbot Road or the alley between Talbot Road and Glebe Road in Trowbridge this morning).
“Anyone with information should call us on 101 quoting log 048 of today.”
