Police are currently responding to reports of a rave ongoing in Wiltshire.
Officers have been deployed in Coombe, near Netheravon, this morning (New Year’s Day).
The police helicopter was also tasked at around 9.30am. On arrival in the area, it circled fields and woods off Coombe Lane – located on Salisbury Plain.
Locals claim there are significant numbers of vehicles parked in the area, with police vehicles patrolling the countryside and villages.
According to residents, loud music has been ongoing overnight.
Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment. Statement follows.
