Police officers are guarding a house in Swindon after a serious fire there in the early hours of this morning.
A number of fire crews were called to the address in Melville Close, Walcot, at around 3am where they battled a blaze which ripped through a home.
At 7am two officers remained at the scene guarding both the front and back of the house where blue tarpaulin covers the front door.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they are unable to comment due to the incident being under police investigation.
It is not yet clear whether anyone’s been injured in the fire.
