Police and forensics have combed a crime scene on an industrial estate in Calne.
Officers were called to Stereon Metals, a metal processing company, in Porte Marsh Road this morning (Wednesday) following an incident overnight.
A quantity of metal was stolen from the former Qsil site, which is being re-built after it was gutted by a major fire back in June 2025.
Wiltshire Police has launched a probe into the theft, with police and forensics on scene for some hours while evidence was documented and gathered.
The force is urging anyone with information to call 101 quoting log 54 of 18 February.
