A report of a person on the roof of a building sparked a large police response in Swindon town centre last night.
Wiltshire Police received a 999 call shortly after 8pm with the caller reporting seeing a person swaying around on the former Morrisons building in Regent Circus.
A number of units were sent to the scene, where they carried out a search to try and locate the person but no one was found.
Officers utilised a police drone to search the roof from above, but no one was located.
A police spokesperson said: “A witness reported seeing a person on the roof of the Morrisons building and swaying.
“Officers responded and could not find anyone in this vicinity.
“As a precaution, a police drone was also used to check. Again, nothing untoward was found.”
