Police have launched a hunt for a driver after a wrecked van was found in a ditch.
Officers were called to reports of a crashed Vauxhall Combo van in Park Lane, Malmesbury, at 8.30am on Saturday morning (21 March).
The grass verge clearly indicated that the vehicle had left the road and spun, leaving empty bottles of alcohol strew in the hedgerow.

The van was missing a door, front bumper and rear bumper – suggesting a collision had also occurred at another location prior.
A dog unit was sent to the scene and a general purpose police dog successfully picked up and tracked a scent through a field, before it was lost a short time later.

A door, which appeared to match the van, was located in Brinkworth. However, it’s not exactly clear where the other crash happened.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that officers “have been conducting enquiries”, but the driver remained outstanding on Monday (23 March).

Witnesses or anyone with information should call the force on 101 quoting log 63 of 21 March.
