A cannabis factory was discovered by officers after they were called to a report of a disorder in Swindon in the early hours of this morning.

Shortly after 2.30am, officers were called to a report that approximately four men were involved in a disorder at an address in Broad Street.

Upon arrival, those believed to be involved had fled the scene, however, officers entered the property and located a significant cannabis factory, with hundreds of plants at varying stages of growth.

The electricity board was informed to ensure the property was safe and officers remain at the scene this morning while enquiries are carried out.

At this stage, no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote log number 24 of April 8.
