Wiltshire Police has issued an update on an investigation into the death of a baby.
Detectives launched the probe after a newborn baby was found dead at an address in The Holbeins, Grange Park, Swindon, on 1 August.
A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. However, she was later released on conditional bail.
A post-mortem was carried out on Monday (8 August), but did not reveal a cause of death.
Wiltshire Police says its investigation is ongoing.
In a statement, the force wrote: “Enquiries into the death of a newborn baby in Swindon are ongoing.
“A post mortem took place yesterday (8/8) into the death of the baby girl which happened in Grange Park on August 1 and has not confirmed a cause of death.”
