Police cordoned off a footpath following an assault in Swindon last night.
Officers were called to a report of an attack on Transfer Bridges at approximately 10.20pm yesterday (Monday, 8 April).
The footpath between Station Road and Great Western Way – under the railway bridge – was taped off as a crime scene during the incident.
A man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at the scene.
However, he has since been released with no further action, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
Further details about the victim and their injuries are unknown at this stage.
