Police have closed a busy Swindon road following a road traffic collision this afternoon (Sunday).
It’s understood a motorcyclist was involved in the crash in Groundwell Road at around 2pm.
The road’s closed between Drove Road and Victoria Road as emergency services attend the scene.
The extend of the motorcyclist’s injuries are unknown at this early stage.
A spokesperson for Swindon’s Bus Company said buses were unable to serve stops on the route whilst it is closed by police.
“Groundwell Road is currently closed by The Police. Our buses will not be able to serve the Merlin, York Road or Holy rood church in both directions.
“Our buses will still be serving Regent Circus as normal. Apologies for the disruption.”
