Two men have been arrested after police found a cannabis farm in a Swindon home.
Officers attended a three-bed detached house in Gaynor Close, Abbey Meads, at around 4pm on Thursday afternoon (28 March).
Searches of the property revealed that it was being used to grow cannabis – and two men at the scene were arrested for questioning over the discovery.
Locals reported seeing approximately five police vehicles and an ambulance, but it’s understood paramedics were called to an unrelated medical incident.
After a forensic examination of the site on Friday (29 March), specially-trained officers were drafted in to remove the plants, equipment and any associated materials.
26-year-old Ronalt Komami, of no fixed abode, has been charged with cultivating cannabis.
He was remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday).
The other suspect was released as the investigation continues.
