A suspected paedophile was arrested after police were sent chat logs of a conversation he had allegedly engaged in with a person posing as a 14-year-old last week.
The organisation Child Online Safety Team (COST) provided Wiltshire Police with a pack of evidence and officers immediately visited the suspect in Swindon on Thursday 25 June.
The man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
“He has been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue”, a police spokesperson said.
