Police have arrested a driver after a car crashed into a wall near Trowbridge.
Officers were called to Frome Road, outside Southwick Car Centre, at around 9.15pm yesterday evening (Sunday, 10 March).
A blue Audi A5 collided with a low wall – but the impact caused only minimal damage.
An ambulance crew were also sent to the scene and one person is believed to have gone to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
A man, aged in his 30s from Dorset, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and driving with no insurance. He remained in custody today.
Police drove the car back to Melksham station for safe keeping and the local area was scoured for CCTV footage which may have caught the incident.
