Police and ambulance were called after a body was found ‘in a tree’ in Swindon.
Emergency services raced to reports of the distressing incident off White Edge Moor in Liden at around 6.45pm on Friday (6 December).
A man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On social media, a local woman commented: “Someone has been found dead hanging from a tree.
“My son and his friend found the body when walking to the shops.”
Wiltshire Police confirmed they attended a welfare-related incident.
A spokesperson said: ““Sadly, upon arrival, a man in his 20s was found deceased.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with his family.”
