Part of Chippenham town centre has been cordoned off for a pigeon rescue.
Firefighters were tasked with rescuing the bird, which has become stuck in netting, from a building in High Street this morning (26 January).
A large section of the centre outside Natwest has been cordoned off.
An aerial rescue appliance was spotted at the scene after initial attempts to rescue the bird with a ladder failed.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire and Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Chippenham were called to High Street, Chippenham at 9.26am this morning following reports of a pigeon stuck in netting on the roof of a building.
“Crews are currently using a ladder to try and rescue the pigeon.”
