A baby pet rat has died following an assault on a teenager in Swindon last night.
The 18-year-old man was walking through the town centre at around 8.20pm, when he was approached by a group of around 15 people, before being violently attacked.
He was carrying two baby rats between addresses at the time; one didn’t survive the ordeal.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, with CCTV enquiries underway. No arrests have been made at this stage.
