UPDATE: Man ‘run over by lorry’ dies at the scene of Salisbury city crash
Part of Salisbury city centre is closed as police attend a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Fisherton Street at around 11am this morning (Tuesday).
It’s believed the incident involved a pedestrian and a lorry, but further details are unclear.

Forensic collision investigation work is underway at the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed the area could remain shut for a “significant” amount of time.
They said: “Please be aware that Fisherton Street in Salisbury is currently closed to allow emergency services to attend to a serious road traffic collision.
“We would ask that members of the public avoid the area and seek alternative routes as the street is likely to be closed for a significant period.”
