The parents of a boy killed in a crash in Dilton Marsh have paid tribute to him.
Eight-year-old Lennix Sutcliffe died when he was hit by a car near his home in Woodland View at around 4:30pm yesterday (Saturday, 13 April).
Wiltshire Police say the youngster was low down on a scooter when he was struck as a driver pulled into a driveway. Efforts to save him were unsuccessful – read more >
His parents Jackie and Chris have released a heart-wrenching tribute:
“Our Lennix was always playing, a happy go lucky child who was loved by everyone and who loved everyone. He simply loved life and was the light of our small village.”
They continued: “He loved Pokémon and his favourite character was Charizard. He was playing today, just playing, taking every ounce of enjoyment that life offered
“We as a family are now coming together to support one another. We ask our community to provide us both time and space in the days, weeks and months ahead of us.”
