Paramedics battled the save the life of a homeless man in deep undergrowth tonight.
Two ambulances raced to the scene behind Shrivenham Road, near Tesco Extra, as a friend of the casualty commenced CPR after finding him in respiratory arrest at around 9.25pm.
Four medics jumped straight into the bushes and managed to revive the man at 9.48pm, just moments after the life-saving team pulled the patient from the undergrowth onto the grass.
It’s understood that the medical episode was the result of a drug overdose.
