A paedophile ex-cop from Malmesbury is being held in custody over an alleged breach of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Callum Denley has been charged with failing to produce his iPhone for inspection by a police offender manager between 16 June and 23 July.
The 20-year-old was slapped with the SHPO after pleading guilty to possessing 1,590 indecent images and videos of children earlier this year, some as young as five.
He was handed a ten-month suspended prison sentence at Swindon Crown Court, alongside a requirement to complete rehab activities and register as a sex offender for ten years.
Denley was a serving officer at Wiltshire Police at the time of his arrest – but later resigned.
The defendant, of Old Alexander Road, Malmesbury, was remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday).
