A cyclist has been hit by a lorry in Chippenham this morning.
At around 7am today, a flat-bed HGV with a blue cabin collided with a woman riding a bicycle on Malmesbury Road; the lorry was overtaking at the time.
The lorry failed to stop at the scene and is now wanted by police.
Wiltshire Police are asking for witnesses to the crash – which happened near the Hill Corner Road junction – to contact them on 101 immediately, quoting 54170082311.
The condition of the casualty is unknown at this time.
