Firefighters were called to extinguish an out-of-control bonfire in Calne this afternoon.
Receiving a 999 call at 1.55pm, a Wiltshire Police rushed to the scene on London Road, alongside one fire crew from Calne Fire Station.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a large bonfire burning conifer tree cuttings. The blaze had spread to, and destroyed, ten metres of fence.
