There were ‘numerous near-misses’ in pursuit involving an Audi in Swindon, police say.
The chase began at around 12.30pm this afternoon (Tuesday) and happened in the Parks and Old Town areas – ending in Marlborough Road.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
Wiltshire Police say the vehicle involved was a blue Audi S3, with a registration starting with NA09.
Officers believe there were a number of near-misses with other road users, including a pedal cyclist.
The force is now seeking anyone who witnessed the incident or whose vehicle or property may have been damaged during the pursuit.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses and anyone that may have had their vehicle damaged during a pursuit in Swindon today (14/10).
“It took place at around 12.30pm around the Parks and Old Town area.
“The subject vehicle was a blue Audi S3, vehicle registration beginning NA09.
“We understand there were a number of close calls with other road users, including a pedal cyclist on Marlborough Road.

The suspect remains in police custody for questioning.
