A man’s been struck by a train at Bath Spa station this afternoon.

Emergency service are currently attending the incident — involving a freight train — which happened just before 2pm.

No trains are calling at Chippenham or Bath Spa.

A spokesperson for GWR said: “Due to a person hit by a train between Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads all lines are blocked.

“Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or diverted via Bristol Parkway.

”Some stations between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon will not be served.”

Disruption is expected until 4.30pm today.
