Police are investigating after masked men made threats near a Devizes play park.
The incident happened in the Byron Way area at approximately 1pm on 4 November.
A man, aged in his 20s, was approached by two unknown men and threatened.
Wiltshire Police say that despite this, there is not thought to be any risk to the victim.
A spokesperson said: “While the suspects were not known directly to the victim, we do not believe this to be random.
“We would like to reassure the community that we do not believe there to be a risk to them and regular patrols are being carried out.”
Officers are making an appeal for anyone who may have seen this incident to come forward to assist with the force’s enquiries.
The suspects are described as two males, both of stocky build, with Scottish accents. They were both believed to be wearing masks.
