Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has airlifted an injured motorcyclist to Southmead Hospital in Bristol following a serious crash in Trowbridge this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the car versus moped collision on Frome Road at 1.30pm today, where it’s believed the motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury.
Wiltshire Police are advising motorist to avoid the area for the foreseeable future, with the Force Incident Manager confirming that an investigation will take place.
The road remains closed now, at 5pm. It’s not expected to reopen until after 7pm.
