A motorcyclist sustained life-changing injuries in a crash on a main road in Calne yesterday.
The A3102 Calne by-pass was closed in both directions for eight hours while emergency services work at the scene.
It happened at around 2.45pm and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a green Triumph Tiger motorcycle.
The driver of the car involved wasn’t injured.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The male rider sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“If you heard or saw this collision or witnessed anything in relation to the car and motorbike before the incident, please contact our Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference number 54200031642.“
