A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash on a main route in Swindon.
Victoria Road, in Old Town, has been closed in both directions following the road traffic collision at around 5.15pm today (Sunday, 3 April).
The crash is said to have involved a car and a motorcycle.
The road is closed between Bath Road and Prospect Place whilst emergency services attend. The route is likely to remain closed for some time.
At least five police vehicles are at the incident, including a specialist roads policing unit.
The motorcyclist is believed to have suffered serious injuries.
Wiltshire Police is advising motorists to avoid the area.
