A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on a major A-road near Malmesbury.
Emergency services were called to the A433 Tetbury Road following reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at around midday on Sunday (17 May).
The incident, which happened near The Thames Head Inn around nine miles north of Malmesbury, involved a red Honda NC750X motorcycle.
The rider, a man aged in his 60s and from Stroud, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed, Gloucestershire Police said.
A force spokesperson added: “Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision…or who has dashcam footage to contact police.
“Closures had been put in place at the scene to allow for a collision investigation to take place, and these have since been lifted.
