Motorcyclist who died in A350 crash was aged 19, police reveal

A motorcyclist who died in a crash on the A350 was aged 19, police have revealed.

Emergency services were called to the scene outside the BP garage on Beanacre Road, Melksham, shortly after midday on Thursday (15 May).

Three vehicles – an Ashton Farms-branded heavy goods vehicle (HGV), a Ford Fiesta and a motorbike – were involved in a road traffic collision.

The motorcyclist, aged 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.

Adding: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed what took place or recorded dash cam footage of this tragic incident which took place at about 12.10pm.”
