A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash near Trowbridge.
Emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic collision on the A361 in Southwick at around 9.30am this morning (Sunday).
The incident involved a Kawasaki motorbike and a car on the junction for Poplar Tree Lane.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was scrambled to the scene alongside other 999 crews.
A male biker sustained serious injuries and was treated by critical care medics. He was subsequently airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police confirmed.
The A361 was closed in both directions and Poplar Tree Lane was closed at the A361 junction. Closures were lifted around three hours later.
In a statement shortly after the crash, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A closure is currently in place along the A361 in Southwick, at the junction for Poplar Tree Lane, following a two-vehicle collision.
“Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route while emergency services attend the scene.”
