A missing man from Swindon ‘may be living in a tent’ as searches for him continue.
23-year-old Macauley, known as Mac, was last seen leaving his address in the Park South area at around 11.50am on Saturday morning (25 October).
Mac’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare, and have been carrying out their own searches alongside officers.
Wiltshire Police believe he may be staying in a tent and are urging members of the public to report any signs of camping.
“We believe he may be in a tent somewhere”, a force spokesperson said.
Adding that they “would urge anyone, especially dog walkers or ramblers who may have noted tents or signs of camping in unusual places, to let us know.”
Mac is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of solid build, with blondish-brown hair and a beard.
He is believed to be wearing a black windproof jacket with a blue jacket underneath, dark jeans with a paint effect, and carrying a large cream camo bag. He is thought to be riding a grey pushbike.
Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting log 217 of 26 October.
